The evolution of LUCOTEL
Regional hotel with a renounce restaurant
The LUCOTEL was built in 1990, under the supervision of Mr and Mrs Luc Landel. This building was built to supplant ‘l’hôtel de la Gare ’of Lanvollon. The hotel was completed the same of the new county of ‘Cotes d’Armor’.
The hotel side started from 10 rooms to 30 to date. The restaurant side earned is reputation for Sunday lunch, weddings, christening and other family occasions.
Later, the Lucotel joint the voluntary chain of Logis de France (3000 members at present) and enter the evolution of the internet. The business started to welcome a different clientèle from all over the world, business (one night stop, conferences, business dinner) and tourists came in to discover our region.
In 2008, Claude LE ROY took over this upcoming business, originally from this county in practically from Quemper Guezennec, with an objective to maintain the view of is creators.
So eventually the Lucotel becomes the Ad Nevez Lucotel for few reasons. The prefix Ad Nevez (means “new” in Breton) brings a touch of the region and aloud the hotel to detaches itself from the image of the chains. But as well, to involve the Breton name, Ad Nevez can identify the restaurant,Lucotel is self-sufficient.
Part of the population is not well informed of the restaurant activities because of the name of Lucotel. The new demands must be taken in question, always in the worry to balance the varieties of flavours and affordability to pursuit is natural evolution.
